Enjoy an incredible sailing adventure in the longest and deepest fjord in North America. Hop on board our 50' Sloop, Hopscotch, for a 2.5 hour excursion and experience the thrill of sailing in Alaskan waters. On our Skagway saling tour you'll see towering waterfalls, Alaskan wildlife, and glacier views in an intimate setting of up to six passengers. You can kick back and enjoy the ride or have a more hands-on experience by taking part in the saling experience. If it's your first time sailing, your experienced captain will show you the ropes so that you can experience the unique thrill that sailing offers. We provide you and your party with warm drinks, blankets, and all the necessary treats to make your Skagway Sailing excursion comfortable, safe, and unforgettable no matter the weather.

Important Information:

Our Skagway sailing tours begin and end at the Skagway Small Boat Harbor.  A Hopscotch crew member will meet you there and escort you to the sailboat.

Your Skagway saling excursion is 2.5 hours long.  Skagway is a VERY windy place, which is often a a good thing. We will do everything possible to ensure your salboat ride is comfortable and enjoyable.

We take a maximum of 6 guests on board the vessel. Join us for a solo adventure or bring your friends!  We also offer private trips for groups of 2-6 people. 

Hopscotch has 4 heads (bathrooms), and a galley filled with tasty treats, warm drinks, and plenty of comfortable places to enjoy the magical ride.

For safety reasons, guests must be at least 10 years old.  You and everyone in you party should be able-bodied for walking on un-even and shifting surfaces.  Guests are required to wear low profile inflatable life vests (you won’t even know you’re wearing it).

What YOU need to bring: 

Kindly bring a jacket and warm clothes. Even on the most gorgeous, sunny and warm Alaska Day, the wind on the water can be chilly. We have plenty of space to store any clothing you bring along.

We have plenty of snacks and drinks, but you are welcome to bring your own food and drink for the tour.
